Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLSTN2 (calsyntenin-2) is a member of the calsyntenin family of proteins, which are implicated in synaptic function and neuronal signaling. This protein plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of neuronal connections, particularly in the central nervous system. Recent studies have indicated that CLSTN2 is involved in various neurodevelopmental processes and may contribute to the pathology of neuropsychiatric disorders, such as autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. Given its significant role in synaptic dynamics, research on the recombinant form of CLSTN2 has gained momentum, aiming to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and interactions within neuronal networks. Through the study of CLSTN2 recombinant proteins, researchers hope to uncover its structure-function relationships and its impact on neurotransmission. Investigating CLSTN2 may provide insights into the molecular underpinnings of synaptic resilience and plasticity, which are pivotal in understanding brain function and the etiology of neurological diseases. This research is not only expected to enhance our understanding of CLSTN2’s role in neural development but could also pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with synaptic dysfunction.
