Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GOLGA8A is a member of the Golgin family of proteins, which play crucial roles in maintaining Golgi apparatus structure and function. Research into GOLGA8A has gained traction due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including vesicle trafficking, Golgi organization, and the regulation of protein sorting. Its gene is located on human chromosome 5, and alterations in its expression have been linked to several diseases, including cancer. The protein is known for its coiled-coil domain, which facilitates interaction with other Golgi proteins and cytoskeletal elements. Furthermore, GOLGA8A has been implicated in the immune response and is believed to be a target of interest for understanding disease mechanisms. Recent studies have focused on characterizing the recombinant form of GOLGA8A to explore its functional properties and potential applications in therapeutic contexts. By producing and purifying this protein, researchers aim to investigate its role in Golgi-mediated processes and elucidate its interactions with other cellular components. Understanding GOLGA8A's structure and function can provide insights into Golgi dynamics and its implications in disease, making it a significant focus of molecular and cellular biology research.
