Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TRIM33, also known as TGF-beta receptor interacting protein 1 (TRIP-1) or TIF1, is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) protein family, which is characterized by a RING domain, a B-box, and a coiled-coil region. This protein plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including transcriptional regulation, cell differentiation, and the response to stress. Recent studies have highlighted TRIM33's involvement in various diseases, especially cancer, where it can act as a tumor suppressor or an oncogene depending on the context. The reconstitution and characterization of TRIM33 as a recombinant protein have become increasingly important for elucidating its functional mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. By producing TRIM33 in a recombinant form, researchers can investigate its role in regulating gene expression, understanding its signaling pathways, and exploring its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, due to its dual roles in different biological contexts, studying TRIM33 provides insights into the molecular basis of tumorigenesis and development. Advances in protein engineering and purification techniques facilitate the detailed structural and functional analysis, paving the way for potential applications in targeted therapies and biomarker development. Understanding TRIM33’s complex functions may also enable the identification of novel strategies for cancer treatment and aid in the design of specific inhibitors or activators that could modulate its activity in pathological conditions. Overall, TRIM33 remains a significant focus of ongoing research, reflecting its potential implications in both basic biology and clinical applications.
