Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM122B, a member of the FAM122 family, is implicated in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and response to stress. Recent research has highlighted its potential role in oncogenesis, particularly its overexpression in several cancers, suggesting that FAM122B may serve as a tumor marker or therapeutic target. Furthermore, FAM122B has been linked to key signaling pathways, such as the mTOR pathway, which is crucial for cell growth and metabolism. The recombinant protein of FAM122B is essential for investigating its molecular functions and interactions, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. In studies, producing recombinant FAM122B allows for the examination of its effects on cellular behavior in vitro, as well as its potential interactions with other proteins involved in signaling pathways. Understanding the biological functions and mechanisms of FAM122B not only contributes to the fundamental knowledge of cellular biology but also has significant implications for developing novel therapeutic strategies for cancers and other diseases where FAM122B is dysregulated. As research progresses, the characterization of the FAM122B protein could lead to insights into its functions and open new avenues for targeted therapies, underlining the importance of continued investigation into this intriguing protein.
