稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAPN6, or calpain-6, belongs to the calpain family of cysteine proteases, which are known for their roles in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell migration, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Research into CAPN6 has gained traction due to its association with several pathophysiological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Its expression is particularly notable in the brain and certain tissues, suggesting a specialized function that warrants further investigation. Unlike other calpains, CAPN6 is unique in that it lacks some typical enzymatic activity, which intrigues researchers about its possible role in modulating protein interactions rather than cleaving them. Recent studies indicate that CAPN6 may contribute to the regulation of key signaling pathways, potentially implicating it in the mechanisms of disease progression. Thus, recombinant CAPN6 protein has become a focal point for understanding its molecular functions and potential therapeutic applications. The generation of recombinant CAPN6 allows for detailed biophysical and biochemical analyses, facilitating insights into its structure-function relationships, interactions with other proteins, and involvement in cellular signaling. Collectively, these insights may pave the way for novel interventions targeting CAPN6 in disease contexts where its dysregulation is evident, making it a promising candidate for future experimental and therapeutic strategies.
