Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TP73, a member of the p53 family of transcription factors, plays a significant role in the regulation of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression, apoptosis, andDNA damage response. Unlike its well-studied counterparts, TP53, TP73 exhibits unique characteristics, including various isoforms due to alternative splicing, which contribute to its functional diversity. Research has indicated that TP73 can function both as a tumor suppressor and, in certain contexts, as an oncogene, depending on the specific isoform and the cellular environment. Its involvement in cancer progression, neurodegeneration, and developmental disorders has sparked interest in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying its activity. Furthermore, TP73's potential as a therapeutic target, particularly in cancers resistant to conventional treatments, underscores the importance of investigating its structure and function. The study of recombinant TP73 proteins offers valuable tools for elucidating the protein's functional dynamics, protein-protein interactions, and regulatory networks in which it is involved. By generating and characterizing these recombinant proteins, researchers aim to harness insights into TP73's biological roles, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies that leverage this intriguing protein's capabilities in combating disease.
