Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM107A, also known as Family With Sequence Similarity 107 Member A, is a protein-coding gene that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Research into FAM107A has gained attention due to its potential implications in cancer biology, as alterations in its expression have been linked to tumorigenesis in several cancer types. Studies have shown that FAM107A may act as a tumor suppressor, with downregulation associated with aggressive cancer phenotypes and poor patient outcomes. Furthermore, the protein's interactions with other signaling pathways, such as the Notch and Wnt pathways, highlight its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. The recombinant protein of FAM107A is being explored for its potential therapeutic applications, including its use as a biomarker for early cancer detection and as a target for novel anticancer therapies. Understanding the functional mechanisms of FAM107A through recombinant protein studies can provide valuable insights into its role in cancer progression and open new avenues for treatment strategies aimed at restoring its normal function.
