Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH26, a member of the cadherin superfamily, is a type of cell adhesion molecule highly expressed in epithelial tissues and is believed to play a significant role in cell-cell adhesion, tissue morphogenesis, and signaling pathways during development. Research into CDH26 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in cancer biology, particularly in the context of tumor progression and metastasis. Alterations in the expression levels of CDH26 have been associated with various malignancies, suggesting that it may serve as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis or prognosis. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of recombinant CDH26 protein provides insights into its mechanisms of action and interaction with other cellular components. The production of recombinant CDH26 enables detailed studies into its functional properties, aiding in the development of therapeutic strategies that target cadherin-mediated pathways. Additionally, this research may contribute to the broader understanding of cadherin-related disorders and offer potential avenues for intervention in diseases characterized by abnormal cell adhesion, such as cancer and developmental disorders. Overall, the investigation of CDH26 as a recombinant protein holds promise for uncovering novel insights into its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
