Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TMEM42, a member of the transmembrane protein family, has garnered increasing interest in recent years due to its potential role in various cellular processes and diseases. Research has indicated that TMEM42 may be involved in membrane trafficking, cellular signaling, and the regulation of immune responses. However, the exact biological functions and mechanisms of TMEM42 remain largely unexplored, creating a gap in our understanding of its contributions to cellular physiology and pathology. The study of TMEM42 recombinant proteins is crucial for elucidating its structure-function relationships and interactions with other cellular components. By expressing and purifying TMEM42 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to investigate its folding, stability, and interactions with other molecular partners. Such studies could provide insights into the protein's role in cellular mechanisms and its potential implications in diseases such as cancer or neurodegeneration. Overall, the exploration of TMEM42 as a recombinant protein could pave the way for new therapeutic targets or biomarkers, highlighting the importance of further research in this area.
