Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TMEM24, or Transmembrane Protein 24, is a member of the transmembrane protein family and plays a critical role in cellular processes such as lipid metabolism, insulin signaling, and cellular differentiation. Research has shown that TMEM24 is involved in the regulation of glucose homeostasis and can affect the secretion of insulin from pancreatic beta cells. The protein's unique structure, characterized by multiple transmembrane domains, has sparked interest in understanding its function and mechanism of action within the cell. Recent studies have indicated that TMEM24 may influence the trafficking of lipids and proteins, which further underscores its potential involvement in metabolic disorders like obesity and type 2 diabetes. Recombinant TMEM24 protein has been utilized in various studies to elucidate its functional properties, interactions with other cellular components, and its role in pathological conditions. As the prevalence of metabolic diseases continues to rise globally, investigating TMEM24 at the molecular level may provide insights into novel therapeutic approaches aimed at targeting metabolic dysfunction and improving metabolic health. Overall, the study of TMEM24 and its recombinant forms represents a significant avenue in biomedical research, with implications for understanding complex metabolic diseases and developing potential interventions.
