Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPLIN (Epithelial Protein Lost in Neoplasm) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in cancer research due to its role as a tumor suppressor and its involvement in cellular processes such as epithelial cell adhesion and migration. Initially discovered as a protein that is downregulated in neoplastic tissues, EPLIN's expression levels have been found to correlate with tumor progression and metastasis in various types of cancers, including breast and colorectal cancers. Studies have shown that EPLIN interacts with components of the cytoskeleton and cell junctions, playing a crucial role in maintaining epithelial integrity and regulating invadopodia formation, which are critical for cancer cell invasion. Research has also indicated that loss of EPLIN can lead to increased motility and invasive capabilities of tumor cells, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for cancer prognosis. The exploration of EPLIN's molecular pathways and its regulatory mechanisms is ongoing, with the aim of understanding its function more thoroughly and identifying potential therapeutic targets for intervention. Overall, EPLIN's promising role in tumor biology makes it a focal point for studies aimed at developing novel cancer treatments and improving patient outcomes.
