Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRP4 (Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor-Related Protein 4) is a crucial member of the low-density lipoprotein receptor family, playing a significant role in neuromuscular junction formation and maintenance. It serves as a multifunctional co-receptor for agrin, a protein essential for the clustering of acetylcholine receptors at the postsynaptic membrane in skeletal muscle. Research into LRP4 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various biological processes, including muscle development and nerve-muscle communication, as well as its implications in certain neuromuscular disorders. Furthermore, mutations in the LRP4 gene have been linked to congenital myasthenic syndromes, underscoring the protein's importance in human health. The recombinant expression of LRP4 allows for detailed structural and functional studies, facilitating the elucidation of its molecular mechanisms and interactions. Additionally, understanding LRP4's signaling pathways may pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with neuromuscular junction dysfunction. As a result, the study of LRP4 recombinant proteins is not only fundamental for basic biology but also holds potential clinical significance, making it an intriguing target for ongoing research in the field of neuromuscular physiology and pathology.
