Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TLL2 (Tolloid-like 2) is a member of the TGF-β superfamily and plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including embryogenesis, tissue development, and fibrosis. It belongs to a group of metalloproteinases known for their ability to cleave specific protein substrates, thereby regulating critical signaling pathways such as the BMP (Bone Morphogenetic Protein) pathway. Research has shown that TLL2's enzymatic activity is essential for the proper functioning of these pathways, influencing cell differentiation and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of TLL2 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer and developmental disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. Given its biological importance, recombinant TLL2 proteins have become valuable tools for studying its structure-function relationships, enzymatic mechanisms, and potential interactions with other signaling molecules. The production and characterization of TLL2 recombinant proteins allow researchers to explore its roles in cellular processes and its implications in disease, contributing to a deeper understanding of its significance in health and disease.
