Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHRM1, or cholinergic receptor muscarinic 1, is a crucial member of the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor family, which plays significant roles in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, smooth muscle contraction, and cognitive functions. Studies have shown that CHRM1 is involved in a range of neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of CHRM1 protein allows for detailed characterization of its structure and function, facilitating the understanding of its signaling pathways and interactions with ligands. Researchers utilize techniques such as molecular cloning, protein expression in heterologous systems, and purification methods to obtain functional CHRM1 protein. This enables the exploration of CHRM1's pharmacological properties, including its response to agonists and antagonists, thereby contributing to the development of novel drugs aimed at modulating its activity. Additionally, recombinant CHRM1 can be employed in high-throughput screening assays to identify potential therapeutic compounds, providing insights into the receptor's role in health and disease. Overall, the study of CHRM1 recombinant protein is essential for advancing our knowledge of cholinergic signaling and developing targeted therapies for related pathologies.
