Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TGDS (Trehalose-6-Phosphate Synthase) is an enzyme that plays a critical role in the biosynthesis of trehalose, a disaccharide involved in various biological processes including stress response, energy metabolism, and cellular protection in organisms ranging from bacteria to plants and animals. The study of TGDS recombinant protein has garnered significant attention due to its potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. Recombinant production of TGDS allows for the detailed investigation of its enzymatic properties, regulatory mechanisms, and functional roles in trehalose metabolism. Researchers are particularly interested in how TGDS can be manipulated to enhance stress tolerance in crops, improve microbial fermentation processes, and develop therapeutic strategies for diseases linked to metabolic disorders. Advances in genetic engineering techniques have facilitated the expression of TGDS in various host systems, leading to more efficient protein purification and characterization. Understanding the structure-function relationship of TGDS at the molecular level can pave the way for innovative approaches to leverage trehalose for industrial and agricultural applications, highlighting the importance of TGDS recombinant protein research in addressing contemporary challenges related to food security, environmental stressors, and health.
