Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EFHB, or the Extracellular Matrix Factor H Binding Protein, is a recombinant protein that has garnered significant interest due to its potential therapeutic applications in various biomedical fields. The extracellular matrix plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, communication, and tissue development, making proteins like EFHB essential for understanding cellular interactions and signaling pathways. Research into EFHB focuses on its ability to bind to factor H, a critical regulator of the complement system, which is involved in immune response and inflammation. Dysregulation of this system is linked to several diseases, including age-related macular degeneration and certain autoimmune disorders. By investigating the structure and function of EFHB, scientists aim to elucidate its mechanisms of action and explore its potential as a target for therapeutic intervention. Moreover, the recombinant production of EFHB offers advantages for high-throughput screening and functional studies, paving the way for novel strategies in drug discovery and the development of biomaterials. As research progresses, EFHB may emerge as a vital component in regenerative medicine and the treatment of various pathological conditions, underlining the importance of ongoing investigations into its properties and applications.
