Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EDG7, also known as S1P2 (sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 2), is a member of the lysophospholipid receptor family that plays a crucial role in various physiological and pathological processes, including immune response, vascular development, and neuronal signaling. Understanding the structure and function of EDG7 is vital due to its significant involvement in cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. Recent research has focused on the recombinant expression of EDG7 proteins to facilitate in-depth studies of its signaling pathways and receptor interactions. The recombinant EDG7 proteins enable researchers to analyze the receptor's ligand binding affinity, activation mechanisms, and downstream signaling cascades. Additionally, the generation of specific EDG7 antibodies has opened avenues for in vivo studies and potential therapeutic applications. As the role of sphingosine-1-phosphate in cellular communication and disease progression becomes increasingly recognized, the characterization of EDG7 through recombinant technology provides critical insights that could lead to novel therapeutic strategies targeting this receptor. These advancements underscore the importance of EDG7 in both basic research and clinical applications, making it a compelling target for drug discovery and development.
