Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EMILIN2 (Elastin Microfibril Interface Located Protein 2) is a member of the EMILIN family of extracellular matrix proteins, known for their roles in tissue development, elasticity, and cellular interactions. This protein plays a vital role in maintaining the structural integrity of tissues, particularly in the cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems. Recent studies have highlighted its significance in modulating inflammation and tissue repair processes, making it a focal point in regenerative medicine research. The recombinant form of EMILIN2 has gained interest due to its potential therapeutic applications, including promoting wound healing and tissue regeneration. Additionally, understanding the functional mechanisms of EMILIN2 at a molecular level can provide insights into various pathologies associated with ECM dysregulation, such as cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis. As a result, the production and characterization of EMILIN2 recombinant protein are crucial for exploring its biological functions and therapeutic applications, paving the way for novel treatments in regenerative and vascular medicine. This research is also anticipated to contribute to the development of biomaterials and strategies that harness the natural capabilities of the extracellular matrix for enhanced healing and tissue engineering applications.
