Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TAMM41 is a recently identified protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of mitochondrial biogenesis and function, highlighting its significance in cellular metabolism and energy homeostasis. Research has shown that TAMM41 is involved in the assembly of mitochondrial ribosomes, which are essential for the synthesis of proteins encoded by the mitochondrial genome. Given the importance of mitochondria in various cellular processes and their link to numerous diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes, understanding the precise functions of TAMM41 is vital. Studies have revealed that mutations or dysregulation of TAMM41 can lead to mitochondrial dysfunctions, emphasizing its potential as a therapeutic target. Thus, the recombinant expression of TAMM41 is being explored to facilitate detailed biochemical and structural studies, enabling researchers to dissect its role in mitochondrial dynamics and to investigate how alterations in its function could contribute to the pathogenesis of mitochondrial diseases. The investigation of TAMM41 not only enhances our understanding of mitochondrial biology but also opens new avenues for the development of targeted interventions in mitochondrial-related disorders.
