Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WDR46, or WD repeat domain 46, is a protein that is part of the WD repeat protein family, which is characterized by the presence of multiple WD repeats that facilitate protein-protein interactions. This protein has garnered interest in various fields of biological research due to its involvement in critical cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, gene expression, and the maintenance of genome stability. Aberrations in WDR46 expression or function have been linked to several diseases, particularly cancer, where it may play a role in tumorigenesis and metastasis. The study of WDR46 thus presents promising avenues for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these diseases. Additionally, research into WDR46 has potential therapeutic implications, as targeting its pathways might offer novel strategies for cancer treatment. Investigating the structure and function of recombinant WDR46 protein can provide insights into its biological roles and interactions, ultimately contributing to the development of specific inhibitors or modulators for therapeutic use. With advancements in protein engineering and expression systems, the generation of recombinant WDR46 allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties, interactions with other cellular components, and potential regulatory mechanisms. This research is vital for elucidating the functional significance of WDR46 in health and disease, paving the way for further exploration of its role in therapeutic interventions.
