Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEPT12 (Septin 12) is a member of the septin family of GTP-binding proteins that play crucial roles in various cellular processes, including cytokinesis, cell division, and the formation of specialized cellular structures. Research on SEPT12 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in human health and disease, particularly in reproductive biology. Deficiencies or mutations in SEPT12 have been linked to male infertility, specifically impaired sperm production and function, thereby highlighting its critical role in spermatogenesis. Furthermore, the study of SEPT12 is essential for understanding the broader implications of septin dysfunction, which has been associated with a range of pathologies, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. The investigation of SEPT12’s structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms is vital for developing potential therapeutic strategies to address related reproductive health issues and other diseases characterized by aberrant septin behavior. As researchers continue to explore the multifaceted roles of SEPT12, insights gained from these studies promise to enhance our understanding of cellular dynamics and advance the field of reproductive medicine.
