Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NOTCH3 is a member of the Notch signaling pathway, which plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Mutations in the NOTCH3 gene are linked to cerebrovascular disorders, particularly CADASIL (CADASIL syndrome), a hereditary condition characterized by recurrent strokes and progressive neurological decline. This underscores the importance of studying NOTCH3 for understanding its role in both normal physiology and disease pathogenesis. Researchers are particularly interested in the structure and function of NOTCH3 protein, including its extracellular domain, which contains several EGF-like repeats essential for receptor activation and ligand interaction. Recombinant NOTCH3 protein has been developed to facilitate in-depth studies of its biological functions, interactions, and potential as a therapeutic target. This research can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying Notch signaling dysregulation, offering possibilities for novel interventions in diseases associated with NOTCH3 mutations. Overall, the investigation of NOTCH3 recombinant protein represents a crucial step towards elucidating its role in health and disease, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies.
