Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DLGAP1 (Discs Large Distal Associated Protein 1) is a member of the guanylate kinase-associated protein family, playing a crucial role in synaptic signaling and cell adhesion. It is involved in the formation of postsynaptic structures and is known to interact with various proteins, including those associated with signaling pathways and cytoskeletal dynamics. Recent research has highlighted the significance of DLGAP1 in neurodevelopment and its potential implications in neuropsychiatric disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. The study of DLGAP1 recombinant proteins is pivotal for understanding its functional roles in cellular mechanisms, particularly in synaptic plasticity and neuronal connectivity. By recombinantly expressing DLGAP1, researchers aim to investigate its structural characteristics, functional interactions, and the effects of specific mutations associated with disease. This work not only enhances our understanding of neurological processes but also paves the way for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies for related disorders. The insights gained from DLGAP1 recombinant protein studies could ultimately contribute to novel interventions aimed at modulating synaptic function and addressing various neurodevelopmental challenges.
