Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPECC1, or Sperm-Specfic Protein 1, is a gene that encodes a protein involved in several physiological processes, particularly in the development and function of reproductive tissues. Initial studies have highlighted its role in sperm motility, suggesting that it might play a crucial part in male fertility. Beyond reproduction, recent research indicates that SPECC1 may also have implications in cell signaling pathways and cytoskeletal dynamics, which can affect cellular shape and movement. As a consequence, this protein has garnered attention in various fields, including developmental biology and cancer research, where its expression patterns may provide insights into tumorigenesis and metastasis. The exploration of SPECC1's structure and function, therefore, is essential to understand its potential roles in health and disease. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of SPECC1 as a research tool, facilitating detailed biochemical studies and aiding in the elucidation of its mechanisms of action. Understanding SPECC1 can not only enhance our knowledge of male fertility and reproductive health but also pave the way for novel therapeutic interventions in conditions where SPECC1 expression is deregulated.
