Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPDEF (SAM Pointed Domain Containing Ets Transcription Factor) is a member of the Ets family of transcription factors, primarily associated with the regulation of genes involved in epithelial differentiation and mucin production. Research indicates that SPDEF plays a crucial role in the development of various tissues, notably in the prostate and airway epithelium, where it is linked to the regulation of secretory programs and epithelial cell identity. Dysregulation of SPDEF expression has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including prostate cancer and asthma, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. With the advancement of recombinant DNA technology, researchers have been able to produce SPDEF as a recombinant protein to study its functional roles in cellular processes and signaling pathways. This production enables in vitro and in vivo functional assays that can elucidate its specific interactions and influence on downstream gene expression. Understanding SPDEF’s mechanisms could pave the way for novel treatment strategies targeting epithelial cell-related disorders, emphasizing the importance of SPDEF as both a biomarker and a potential therapeutic target in oncology and respiratory diseases.
