Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C8orf4, also known as the "C8 Open Reading Frame 4," is a gene located on chromosome 8 that has garnered interest in various fields of biomedical research due to its potential roles in cellular processes. Recent studies have suggested that C8orf4 may be involved in regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and possibly in the mechanisms of certain diseases, including cancer. The protein encoded by this gene has been implicated in the modulation of signaling pathways, which raises questions about its function in normal physiology and its involvement in pathological conditions. Researchers have begun to focus on the recombinant protein expression of C8orf4 to better understand its structural and functional properties. By producing and characterizing recombinant C8orf4 protein, scientists aim to elucidate its functional role in cell signaling, examine its interactions with other proteins, and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, understanding the pathological implications of C8orf4 in oncogenesis could lead to the development of novel diagnostic and treatment strategies. Overall, the study of C8orf4 recombinant protein contributes to the broader understanding of its biological significance and its potential applications in medical research.
