Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DEPDC6, also known as DEP domain-containing protein 6, is a member of the DEP (Dishevelled, Egl-10, and Pleckstrin) domain-containing protein family, which is implicated in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell proliferation, and differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted its crucial role in the mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin) signaling pathway, which regulates cellular growth and metabolism in response to nutrient availability and environmental conditions. Abnormalities in DEPDC6 expression have been linked to several diseases, including cancers and metabolic disorders, making it a potential biomarker for disease progression and a target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression and purification of DEPDC6 allow researchers to study its functional properties and interactions at the molecular level, thereby illuminating its role in biological processes. Additionally, understanding the structure-function relationship of DEPDC6 could provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms in the mTOR pathway, contributing to the development of targeted therapies for related conditions. Thus, ongoing research into the recombinant DEPDC6 protein not only enhances our understanding of its biological significance but also opens avenues for novel treatment strategies in diseases associated with mTOR dysregulation.
