Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100A12, a member of the S100 protein family, is a calcium-binding protein that is predominantly expressed in immune cells, particularly neutrophils and monocytes. Research on S100A12 has gained attention due to its involvement in various inflammatory processes and its potential role as a biomarker for several diseases, including autoimmune disorders and chronic inflammatory conditions. Elevated levels of S100A12 have been associated with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and cardiovascular diseases, highlighting its significance in pathological processes. The protein is known to interact with receptor for advanced glycation end-products (RAGE), leading to the activation of pro-inflammatory signaling pathways. Additionally, its expression is influenced by various stimuli, including cytokines and bacterial infections, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The study of recombinant S100A12 protein aims to elucidate its structural and functional properties, furthering our understanding of its role in inflammation and disease. By exploring the dynamics of its interactions with other cellular components, researchers hope to develop novel strategies for modulating S100A12 activity, which could lead to innovative treatments for inflammatory diseases. Overall, the investigation of S100A12 as a recombinant protein serves as a critical step in unraveling its complex biology and therapeutic potential, paving the way for advancements in clinical applications.
