  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The SP110 protein has garnered significant attention in the field of immunology and virology due to its role in the immune response and its association with various diseases. Initially identified as a nuclear protein, SP110 is part of the interferon regulatory factor family and is known for its involvement in the regulation of gene expression in response to viral infections. Studies have shown that SP110 plays a crucial role in the innate immune system, particularly in the activation of macrophages and the modulation of inflammation. Its expression levels have been linked to the body's ability to combat infections, including those caused by viruses such as hepatitis B and C. Moreover, genetic variations in the SP110 gene have been associated with susceptibility to certain infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders. As researchers continue to explore the functional implications of SP110, efforts to characterize its recombinant forms have become paramount. The production of SP110 recombinant proteins allows for detailed studies of its structural and functional properties, facilitating a better understanding of its interactions with other cellular components and its role in disease mechanisms. This research not only contributes to basic scientific knowledge but also opens avenues for potential therapeutic interventions targeting SP110-related pathways, further emphasizing the protein's importance in both health and disease.
