Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDX11, a member of the DEAD-box RNA helicase family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism and gene expression regulation. Deficiencies or mutations in the DDX11 gene have been linked to a rare genetic disorder known as Warsaw Breakage Syndrome, characterized by chromosomal instability and developmental issues. The protein's enzymatic activity is essential for unwinding RNA and facilitating the assembly of RNP complexes, which are vital for processes like splicing, translation, and ribosome biogenesis. Given its significant role in maintaining genomic stability and proper cellular function, researchers have increasingly focused on elucidating the structure and function of DDX11 through the production of recombinant DDX11 proteins. Studying the recombinant forms of DDX11 not only aids in understanding the mechanistic details of its helicase activity but also provides insights into its interactions with RNA and other protein partners. This research is vital for identifying potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with DDX11 dysfunction, as it could lead to the development of novel strategies for intervention in the associated pathologies. The growing interest in DDX11 is underscored by the need to comprehend the molecular underpinnings of chromosomal stability and its implications for human health.
