Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDHD1 (Double PH Domain Containing 1) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential role in various cellular processes and its implications in human health. It is known to be involved in lipid metabolism, specifically in the regulation of phosphoinositide metabolism, which is crucial for cellular signaling and membrane trafficking. The enzyme exhibits a double pleckstrin homology domain, enabling it to interact with phospholipids in cell membranes, thereby influencing cellular functions such as endocytosis and exocytosis. Mutations or dysregulation of DDHD1 have been associated with several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research on DDHD1 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its biochemical functions, interaction networks, and potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structural characteristics and functional mechanisms of DDHD1 through recombinant protein expression and purification facilitates the development of targeted therapies that can manipulate its activity for disease intervention. This research is pivotal for grasping how DDHD1 contributes to pathophysiology and developing innovative strategies to treat conditions linked to its dysfunction.
