Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDEF2, or Death Domain-Containing Protein 2, is a member of the death domain family, which plays a crucial role in mediating apoptotic signaling pathways. This protein has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential involvement in various cellular processes, including cell survival, proliferation, and immune response regulation. Research has shown that DDEF2 can interact with various other proteins, suggesting its role as a critical mediator in cellular signaling networks. Abnormal expression or dysfunction of DDEF2 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where it may influence tumor progression and resistance to therapy. As a result, the recombinant expression of DDEF2 has been pursued to better understand its functional roles and mechanisms. Utilizing techniques such as molecular cloning and protein expression systems, researchers aim to produce recombinant DDEF2 for biochemical assays, structural analysis, and therapeutic applications. The study of DDEF2 not only sheds light on fundamental cellular processes but also opens avenues for developing novel strategies in disease treatment, particularly in oncology. Ultimately, the elucidation of DDEF2’s structure and function is essential for harnessing its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in disease management.
