Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYS1, also known as cysteine sulfinic acid decarboxylase, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of cysteine, a sulfur-containing amino acid vital for various biological processes. The study of CYS1 recombinant protein has gained significance due to its potential implications in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Cysteine is a precursor for the synthesis of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant, and thus CYS1 is essential in cellular detoxification and redox balance. Moreover, research indicates that dysregulation of cysteine biosynthesis is linked to several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. By producing CYS1 as a recombinant protein, scientists aim to better understand its structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms, facilitating drug development aimed at targeting cysteine metabolism. Additionally, exploring the enzyme's properties can provide insights into metabolic engineering for the enhanced production of cysteine and its derivatives. As CYS1 is a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis, unraveling its functional dynamics could lead to novel therapeutic strategies to modulate cysteine levels in specific pathological conditions. Thus, the investigation of CYS1 recombinant protein is not only pivotal for foundational biochemistry but also for its prospective applications in health and disease management.
