稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DAOA (D-amino acid oxidase activator) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in the field of neurobiology due to its potential implications in mental health disorders, particularly schizophrenia. Originally identified as a modulator of the enzyme D-amino acid oxidase (DAO), which is crucial for the metabolism of D-serine, a key neuromodulator in glutamatergic signaling, DAOA has been implicated in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia through its role in regulating D-serine levels in the brain. Variations in the DAO gene and alterations in DAOA levels have been associated with the onset and progression of schizophrenia, suggesting that disruptions in D-serine metabolism may contribute to the cognitive and perceptual deficits observed in affected individuals. Research has highlighted the potential of targeting the DAO-DAOA pathway for therapeutic intervention, paving the way for investigations into DAOA's structure, function, and interactions with other proteins. Understanding the molecular dynamics of DAOA and its impact on neurochemical processes remains critical for developing novel treatment strategies aimed at improving cognitive functions in psychiatric disorders. As such, the study of DAOA and its role in neurobiology represents a promising avenue for unraveling the complexities of brain function and mental health.
