Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CTPS2, or cytidine triphosphate synthase 2, is an essential enzyme involved in the de novo synthesis of cytidine triphosphate (CTP), a nucleotide crucial for RNA and DNA synthesis, membrane biogenesis, and cell signaling. Research on CTPS2 has gained traction due to its implications in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer and neurological disorders. Unlike its counterpart CTPS1, CTPS2 is selectively expressed in certain tissues, indicating unique regulatory mechanisms and functions. The enzyme's structure has been shown to have distinct properties that allow for differential regulation, which makes it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Additionally, its role in maintaining nucleotide pools under cellular stress highlights its importance in cell survival and proliferation. Investigating the recombinant production of CTPS2 can enhance our understanding of its enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and implications in cellular metabolism and pathology. Research efforts focused on characterizing CTPS2 through recombinant techniques enable the determination of enzymatic functions, interactions with potential inhibitors, and its role in metabolic pathways. This knowledge could pave the way for novel strategies in combating diseases that exhibit dysregulation of nucleotide metabolism, firmly positioning CTPS2 as a significant subject in biomedical research.
