  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SH3KBP1, also known as endophilin A2, is a multi-domain protein implicated in various cellular processes, such as endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and cytoskeletal organization. The protein features a SH3 (Src homology 3) domain that interacts with proline-rich motifs in target proteins, facilitating signal transduction and cellular communication. In recent years, extensive research has revealed SH3KBP1's potential role in cancer progression and neurological disorders, making it a significant focus in therapeutic development. The ability to produce recombinant SH3KBP1 protein has provided invaluable insights into its structure and function, enabling a more profound understanding of its biological interactions and mechanisms. Furthermore, the study of SH3KBP1 in vitro has established its role as a regulator of vesicle formation and trafficking, highlighting its potential as a target for drug design aimed at modulating cellular pathways involved in disease. As the interest in SH3KBP1 continues to expand, the development of robust methods for recombinant protein expression and purification is essential to advance research, fostering potential applications in targeted therapies and biomolecular studies.
