Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COL25A1, or collagen type XXV alpha 1, is a member of the collagen family known for its unique structural properties and roles in the extracellular matrix. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of COL25A1 in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation, making it a molecule of interest in both developmental biology and disease research. Aberrant expression of COL25A1 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer and fibrotic diseases, providing a compelling rationale for studying its functional roles and mechanisms. The recombinant protein form of COL25A1 allows for detailed investigations into its biological activities and interactions with other matrix components. By utilizing recombinant technology, researchers can produce a pure and homogenous protein, which aids in elucidating the structure-function relationships of COL25A1. Furthermore, such studies could pave the way for therapeutic applications, including the development of biomaterials for tissue engineering or targeted treatments for diseases associated with collagen dysregulation. Overall, the characterization of COL25A1 recombinant protein stands to enhance our understanding of extracellular matrix dynamics and its implications in health and disease.
