Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ERN1, also known as Inositol-Requiring Enzyme 1, is a crucial component of the unfolded protein response (UPR), an adaptive mechanism that cells activate in response to endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. The ER is essential for proper protein folding and processing, and disturbances in this environment can lead to cellular dysfunction and disease. ERN1 plays a key role in sensing misfolded proteins and triggering signaling pathways that enhance cell survival, facilitate protein refolding, or initiate apoptosis if the stress is severe. Research on recombinant ERN1 proteins has gained momentum due to their significance in understanding various diseases, including cancer, neurodegeneration, and diabetes, where ER stress is implicated. By studying ERN1 and its functional domains, scientists aim to uncover potential therapeutic targets and develop strategies to modulate UPR pathways, promoting cellular health. Additionally, ERN1's interplay with other UPR sensors and its regulation of downstream effectors further underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Consequently, the study of recombinant ERN1 not only enhances the understanding of fundamental cell biology but also holds promise for therapeutic advancements in diseases linked to ER stress.
