Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SFRS6, or Serine/Arginine-rich Splicing Factor 6, is a member of the SR protein family that plays a crucial role in the regulation of pre-mRNA splicing, a vital process in gene expression. Research into SFRS6 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various biological processes and its potential implications in disease states. Studies have shown that SFRS6 is implicated in alternative splicing, a mechanism that allows for the production of multiple protein variants from a single gene, thereby increasing the diversity of the proteome. Abnormal regulation of SFRS6 has been linked to various conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiovascular disorders. Understanding the functional properties of SFRS6 and its interactions with other splicing factors can provide insights into its role in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Consequently, there has been a growing interest in recombinant protein studies of SFRS6, as these can elucidate its structural characteristics and functional domains. Purified recombinant SFRS6 can serve as a valuable tool for biochemical assays and therapeutic applications, paving the way for novel strategies in precision medicine and targeted therapies. The ongoing exploration of SFRS6 also highlights the broader significance of splicing factors in gene regulation and the potential for their manipulation in treating diverse health issues.
