Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NAALADL2, or N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase-like 2, is a membrane-bound enzyme identified as a member of the M20 family of metallopeptidases, primarily involved in the hydrolysis of N-acetylated dipeptides. Research into NAALADL2 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in neurobiology and cellular signaling processes. It is highly expressed in the brain, suggesting a role in neurotransmitter regulation and neuronal cell function. Furthermore, NAALADL2 is implicated in various pathophysiological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases and certain cancers, where its dysregulation may contribute to disease progression. Investigating the recombinant protein form of NAALADL2 allows for a deeper understanding of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and potential as a therapeutic target. The generation of recombinant NAALADL2 can facilitate biochemical assays, structural studies, and the exploration of its physiological roles. Overall, advancing our knowledge of NAALADL2 can illuminate its contribution to both normal cellular function and disease states, providing insights that could lead to novel treatment approaches.
