Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEZ6L2, or Seizure-related gene 6 homolog-like 2, is a member of the SEZ6 family of proteins, which have been implicated in synaptic signaling and neurological functions. Research on SEZ6L2 has gained significance due to its potential role in neurodevelopmental disorders and seizure-related pathologies. The brain expresses SEZ6L2 abundantly, suggesting it may be crucial for neuronal property regulation and synaptic plasticity. Recent studies indicate that alterations in SEZ6L2 expression levels could influence neuronal excitability and synapse formation, contributing to conditions such as epilepsy and autism spectrum disorders. Understanding the molecular mechanisms governing SEZ6L2 interactions with other proteins and its impact on neuronal networks could provide insights into therapeutic strategies for these conditions. Additionally, the recombinant protein form of SEZ6L2 is being utilized in various experimental setups to elucidate its functional properties and interactions. By investigating the structure-function relationship of SEZ6L2, researchers aim to uncover its precise role in neural circuits and its potential as a drug target for neurotherapeutics. The ongoing research on SEZ6L2 holds promise for enhancing our comprehension of neurological disorders and developing innovative treatment modalities.
