Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLSTN1, or Calsyntenin-1, is a member of the calsyntenin protein family, which plays a crucial role in synaptic function and neuronal communication. Research into CLSTN1 has gained momentum due to its involvement in critical biological processes such as neuronal development, synaptic plasticity, and its potential links to neurodegenerative diseases. Observations have suggested that CLSTN1 may influence the trafficking and stability of synaptic proteins and participate in the modulation of neurotransmitter release. Furthermore, aberrations in CLSTN1 expression or function have been implicated in conditions like Alzheimer’s disease and autism spectrum disorders, making it a significant focus in neurobiology. The recombinant expression of CLSTN1 protein allows for detailed studies of its structural characteristics and interactions with other synaptic proteins, paving the way for potential therapeutic targets. Advances in purifying and characterizing CLSTN1 not only enhance our understanding of synaptic mechanisms but also provide insights into its role in disease pathology, offering promise for developing novel interventions for related neurological disorders. This research underscores the importance of CLSTN1 in maintaining synaptic integrity and its broad implications in both healthy and diseased states of the nervous system.
