Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SEPT9 is a member of the septin family of proteins, which are known to play critical roles in various cellular processes, including cytokinesis, cell division, and the regulation of cell shape. Research into SEPT9 has gained momentum due to its involvement in cancer biology, particularly its overexpression in several types of tumors, such as breast cancer and colorectal cancer. Furthermore, SEPT9 is implicated in maintaining cellular architecture and stability, contributing to cytoskeletal dynamics. Abnormalities in SEPT9 expression and function have been associated with tumorigenesis and metastasis, prompting investigations into its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Due to its crucial role in cell cycle progression and its capability to interact with other cellular structures, understanding the molecular mechanisms of SEPT9 may unveil new therapeutic avenues. Recent studies have also highlighted the importance of isoforms of SEPT9, as different variants exhibit distinct functions and regulatory mechanisms. Thus, elucidating the structure-function relationship of SEPT9 and its involvement in cellular pathways could provide insight into its role in health and disease, paving the way for innovative cancer treatments and diagnostics. The ongoing research aims to unravel the complexities of SEPT9 involvement in malignancies, ultimately harnessing this knowledge for potential clinical applications.
