Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLDN20, or Claudin 20, is a member of the claudin family of proteins that play a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of tight junctions between epithelial cells. These junctions are essential for creating selective barriers that regulate the passage of ions, solutes, and water between tissues. While most claudins have been well-studied, the specific functions and mechanisms of CLDN20 remain less understood. Research has indicated that CLDN20 may be involved in various physiological processes, including renal function and the integrity of the blood-brain barrier, suggesting its potential relevance in both health and disease. Dysregulation of claudin expression has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer and kidney diseases, highlighting the importance of elucidating its role at the molecular level. The study of CLDN20 recombinant proteins aims to investigate its structural properties, binding interactions, and functional capabilities within cell models. Understanding the role of CLDN20 could provide insights into its involvement in tight junction dynamics and its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker for relevant diseases. As research continues, the development of CLDN20 recombinant proteins offers a promising approach to advance our knowledge of this protein’s biological significance and its implications in various cellular processes.
