稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLDN12, or Claudin-12, is a member of the claudin family of proteins, which are crucial components of tight junctions in epithelial cells. These junctions play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of epithelial barriers, regulating paracellular permeability, and controlling the passage of ions and small molecules between cells. Recent studies have suggested that CLDN12 may be involved in various physiological and pathological processes, including tumor progression, inflammatory disorders, and neurological diseases. Its expression levels have been found to vary significantly across different tissue types and in response to various stimuli, indicating that it may have distinct functions depending on the cellular context. Thus, understanding the structure and function of CLDN12 is important for elucidating its role in health and disease. The development of recombinant CLDN12 proteins has emerged as a valuable tool for investigating its biological functions, interactions with other tight junction proteins, and regulatory mechanisms. By utilizing these recombinant proteins, researchers can perform assays to assess the effects of CLDN12 on barrier function, cell signaling pathways, and its potential as a therapeutic target. The ongoing research into CLDN12 is anticipated to provide insights into its role in maintaining epithelial integrity and its implications in various diseases, paving the way for novel intervention strategies.
