Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CENPT (Centromere Protein T) is a vital component of the centromere, a specialized region of chromosomes that plays a critical role during cell division by ensuring proper segregation of chromosomes into daughter cells. Research into CENPT is driven by its significance in cellular mechanisms and potential implications in cancer biology, as alterations in centromere function can lead to aneuploidy, a common feature of many tumors. The study of CENPT and its associated pathways has garnered attention due to its involvement in the assembly of the kinetochore, a protein complex essential for chromosome movement. Additionally, understanding the structure and function of CENPT at the molecular level could provide insights into the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting cancer cells that exploit these vulnerabilities. Recombinant CENPT proteins have become a valuable tool in this research, allowing scientists to investigate its biochemical properties, interactions with other centromeric proteins, and its role in chromosomal dynamics. The advancements in protein expression systems enable the production of large quantities of purified CENPT, facilitating a range of studies, from structural characterization to functional assays. As such, CENPT represents a promising target for further exploration in both basic and applied research, highlighting its potential as a biomarker for malignant transformations and a candidate for targeted therapies aimed at preserving genomic stability in cancer treatment.
