Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAS5 (Mango-Associated Secretory Protein 5) is a protein identified in the context of plant-pathogen interactions, particularly in mango plants. The study of MAS5 is significant because it is believed to play a crucial role in the response of mango trees to biotic stressors, including various pathogens. Understanding the structure and function of MAS5 could provide insights into the mechanisms of disease resistance and stress tolerance in plants. Furthermore, the recombinant expression of MAS5 allows researchers to investigate its biochemical properties and interactions, paving the way for potential applications in agricultural biotechnology. By elucidating the role of MAS5 in plant defense mechanisms, scientists aim to develop strategies for enhancing disease resistance in crops, ultimately contributing to food security and sustainable agriculture. The exploration of MAS5 and its derivatives in recombinant forms may also lead to the development of novel plant protection agents or bio-fortified crops, which can improve yield and resilience in the face of climate change and increasing pest pressures.
