Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100PBP (S100 calcium-binding protein P-binding protein) is an intriguing member of the S100 protein family, known for its role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The S100 proteins are characterized by the presence of two EF-hand motifs that enable calcium binding, which can modulate their function in a calcium-dependent manner. S100PBP, specifically, has garnered attention due to its involvement in cancer biology, particularly in breast cancer and other malignancies, where it is implicated in tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding the mechanisms underlying S100PBP's actions in cancer cells may reveal novel therapeutic targets. Recent studies suggest that S100PBP interacts with various cellular partners, influencing signal transduction pathways and gene expression. The exploration of S100PBP as a potential biomarker for cancer prognosis further underscores its significance in oncology research. Additionally, the development of recombinant S100PBP allows researchers to study its structural properties and functional dynamics in vitro, providing insights into its role in cellular signaling and pathology. As research continues, elucidating the precise mechanisms of S100PBP in health and disease will be crucial for developing effective interventions and understanding its broader implications in human health.
