Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDY2B, also known as Chromodomain Y-like 2B, is a protein that belongs to a broader family of chromodomain proteins, which are critical for chromatin remodeling and gene regulation. This protein is predominantly expressed in the male germline and is implicated in various reproductive processes. Research has shown that CDY2B plays a crucial role in spermatogenesis, the process by which sperm are produced, and is essential for the proper development and function of male gametes. Mutations or dysregulation of CDY2B have been linked to male infertility, making it a significant target for understanding reproductive health. The study of recombinant CDY2B protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its structural and functional properties, facilitating the exploration of its role in chromatin organization and gene expression. Furthermore, the recombinant form can be utilized in biochemical assays and cellular models to better understand its interactions with other proteins and DNA, as well as its potential involvement in epigenetic modifications. This research is essential not only for identifying the mechanistic pathways that CDY2B influences but also for developing novel therapeutic strategies for treating male infertility and related disorders.
