  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CDV3 (Canine Distemper Virus strain 3) is a member of the Paramyxoviridae family and is known for causing significant morbidity and mortality in canine populations. The virus can also infect various wildlife species, leading to broader ecological impacts. Research on CDV3 recombinant proteins has gained traction due to their potential applications in vaccine development, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions. Recombinant proteins derived from CDV3, such as the hemagglutinin (H) and fusion (F) proteins, are of particular interest as they play critical roles in viral entry and immune response. These proteins have been used to elicit immune responses in vaccine trials, as they can generate both humoral and cellular immunity in animals. Furthermore, studying these recombinant proteins helps elucidate the mechanisms of CDV pathogenesis and its interaction with host immune systems. Advances in genetic engineering techniques have enabled researchers to produce and purify these proteins more efficiently, facilitating deeper insights into their structure, function, and potential as vaccine candidates. Understanding the immunogenic properties and safety profiles of CDV3 recombinant proteins is critical for developing effective vaccines that could not only protect domestic dogs but also mitigate the impact of this virus in wild populations, thus preserving ecosystem balance. Therefore, ongoing research into CDV3 recombinant proteins is vital for public health, veterinary medicine, and conservation efforts.
